Ben Lund Racing is a family run small business, where passion and enthusiasm for everything horse racing is at the heart of all we do. We are an ambitious, hard working yard, run by trainer Ben Lund and partner Jade, who have worked together for over a decade providing equestrian services throughout the South West.

With a huge wealth of experience and expertise in horse racing, Ben Lund and his team offer an affordable and honest racehorse training service,  from a purpose built professional training yard, and are always happy to discuss any potential training requirements and offer advice on all things racing.

We welcome people from all backgrounds to come and join in the success of our racing yard, regardless of whether they come from a knowledgable racing background or are newcomers to the racing industry - we believe it is incredibly important to ensure total inclusivity within the sport, and are always more than happy to offer our expertise and experience to anyone who may want to learn more about horse racing. We are a family run business, and have 3 young children who are often seen out and about on the yard, interacting with our owners and visitors and making a fuss of the racehorses - we understand that family is incredibly important, and will always welcome our visitors to bring their family and friends to the yard, and encourage family attendance on race days - theres always plenty to see and do at the races, and we often find a good day at the races can spark a lifelong interest in horse racing, for generations to come!

We aim to provide honest feedback on the progress of every horse on our yard, and we regularly welcome owners to come and visit their horses, to see them settled and enjoying their work. We believe in fresh air and freedom, and all of our horses are given plenty of time turned out, enjoying down time as all horses should. As a small set up, we appreciate each and every one of the horses we are given the opportunity to work with, and each individual horse and owner is treated respectfully and as part of the team, and not just a number. We take pride in the service we provide, and will go above and beyond to ensure each horse is happy, healthy and fit - in turn ensuring they can achieve their best possible result on the racecourse.

We have a small team of dedicated and professional staff who are on hand to help with all aspects of the business - Jade is our Racing Secretary and first point of contact when it comes to emails and general enquiries, alongside website maintenance, yard management and business finances. Mark Tregaskes steps into our transport and racing groom duties, holding vast experience in transportation and handling of racehorses. We also have a number of regular experienced and capable work riders in, to assist with the work and schooling of our string. Ben is a very hands on trainer, riding out every day and often seen mucking in with the general yard duties. Our team is comitted and passionate about the yards success, and our horses and their welfare will always be our priority.
